Midlothian play conferences

MAP, in partnership with Midlothian’s Early Years and Childcare Partnership, has so far delivered 3 successful play conferences in Midlothian – the most recent in 2011.

At each conference, participants hear from speakers and take part in practical workshops full of inspiration on children’s play.

The 2011 conference, ‘Setting the scene for play’ was opened by Councillor Margot Russell, Depute Provost of Midlothian, and attended by over 100 delegates. The conference programme focused on ideas and knowledge for creating and using stimulating play environments, whether indoors or outdoors.
