Play Midlothian works to support children to flourish, though improving and increasing their opportunity to play. We focus on play because we know how much this benefits children’s health, wellbeing and development. It is important for their lives in the here and now as well as for their future life chances. Play Midlothian has been providing services since 1996 and is a Registered Charity (no SC025474) and Company Limited by Guarantee (no SC240729).

We provide lots for children and families to get involved in, such as our award-winning holiday playschemes, play sessions in parks and family play activities. Our annual conference and training courses keep professionals and groups in touch with play theory and practical ideas. Members of the organisation can access additional benefits. Have a look round the website for more information about our projects and if you’d like to find out more, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
